When Sakura went out to collect the mail she saw an envelope covered with shimmering snowflakes messily addressed to her. She brought the mail in and opened the pretty envelope. There was a card with a city covered with snow on the front, and a letter, inside the envelope. At the top of the letter in big letters was written in English "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!" The rest of the letter was written in sloppy Japanese.

"I hope this reaches you for Christmas Sakura.
We have so much snow now. It's so cold, but pretty. Do you ever have snow for Christmas Sakura? I hope so! I wanted to send you something wonderful for Christmas but I didn't know what to pick. So I drew something instead. I don't really have much to write about now; I just wanted to wish you a merry Christmas and a great New Year. I might get enough money from Christmas to buy a plane ticket to come meet you though! I hope so!                                                                                                                                                                        Your Canadian friend, Maxi <3"

Sakura looked down at the beautiful drawing her friend had sent. It was a picture of girls decorating a huge pine tree for Christmas, while it snowed outside the window. She thought for a minute and realized they pretty much never had snow at Christmas time. She thought it a pity. Even now it was Christmas Eve with no signs of snow coming. But there wasn't much she could do about it, right?

It was late and everyone had gone to bed, but Sakura was still awake. She looked outside, but there was definitely no snow coming. Kero asked her what was wrong, so she told him how sad she was that they wouldn't have snow for Christmas. He certainly thought it was a silly thing for Sakura to worry about, but that was Sakura for you. He flew off and came back with a pink card in his paw. "Oh yeah!" Sakura exclaimed. "Oops. How could I forget about my own magic? Sorry cards." She went off to grab her coat along with the Fly card, and grabbed the Snow card Kero had fetched, then returned to the window, opening it. She activated the Fly card and climbed out the window. She flew up above the roof and activated the Snow card, saying, "Can you follow me around the town and cover it in snow, please?" She flew over the town with the Snow following behind, sprinkling snow everywhere. When she got back to her room and collapsed into her bed the whole town had been dusted with snow. When everyone woke up the next morning they called it a Christmas miracle. Sakura wrote back to her pen pal that day saying "We don't usually get snow, but we got some in the night. I think you must have sent it!" ^w^
The idea just sort of popped into my head in English class, so I put it down on paper. I know, real creative title, right? I can never think of good titles. I pretty much did this is an hour.
The name signing the letter Sakura gets is the name of one of my OCs. She's Canadian only because I am. I might draw her sometime.
The drawing Sakura gets is actually a quick description of something I've been working on for Christmas, but I don't think I'll finish it in time.
Anyways, I hope you all have a great holiday time! ^w^
BTW, the pic at the top I didn't draw, I just found it and thought it sort of went with the story.
