Nya?~

Marie had never been able to have friends as a child. She was always too sickly to be let out of the house for long periods of time, and their house was so out of the way that nobody would let their child go all the way out alone. That's why she treasured Nemo so much. Nemo the little black cat she had found starving just off their property one night, drenched in the rain that had just stopped pouring down. Marie had seen him out of her window and had rushed outside to fetch him. Her parents, of course, were so mad at her for having dashed out like that, in her condition, but she didn't care. She took such good care of her precious precious friend. She fed him until he was plump and adorable looking. She made sure he always had a warm place to curl up. And he helped her just as much as she helped him. Without Nemo, Marie was sure she would never have been able to grow up and get better the way she eventually did. Her MIND would have been sickly and lonely, and wouldn't have allowed her body to get stronger. Marie owed everything to her little cat Nemo.
