Possible spoilers for KH:CoM and KH: Days. Implied RokuShi-ness and SoNami-ness.

Roxas had never understood much about these "emotions" he'd heard about, or even, on occasion, felt. He was a young boy like any other. The only difference was, instead of school, he fought for the mysterious Organization. The circumstances of its black-hooded members' existences may be strange, but their existences can end like anyone else's, without the slightest notice.

Naminé was a young girl who had never known happiness. Held against her will, she was forced to use her powers to alter a young boy's memory. She was to make a place for herself in the boy, Sora's memory and lure him toward her, into a trap. Now that her captors are gone, she has put Sora to sleep to fix his memories. It was the least she could do for him, so she promised him she would put his memories right again. Then he would be able to go back to his real home and his real friends.

Tears slowly slid down his cheeks as he picked up the seashell left behind by his friend. Though the sky above him was bright from the sunset the lone figure in the hooded black coat felt more like sinking into darkness. He whispered her name, knowing it wouldn't bring her back. "Xion…" He thought back to what he'd been told before, "There's nothing left. We disappear, and then we're just gone." So, he wouldn't see her again. He realized he had this choked up feeling he'd felt before, but he still couldn't put a name to it. He put the seashell to his ear, then pulled it in close to his body as he tried to keep a strong hold on all the memories he had with her. The friendly atmosphere of the town and the laughing across the street, none of it was able to reach the boy. He wondered what had happened, why Xion had said she had to go away now. He wondered what was wrong with him, why this choked up feeling had come back, why the tears wouldn't stop. He didn't know what to do. Then he remembered her last words, her last request of him before she faded away. He stood up slowly and wiped the tears off his face. He put the precious seashell in his pocket, still feeling choked up, but feeling better having one last "mission" to do for her.

Naminé glanced over again at Sora as he slept, untroubled. A light blush crept across her pale face. She regretted all the trouble she had caused for him and his friends, causing him to forget his past and remember only her, who he had never even met before. She understood the choice he'd made to get his memories back, she knew she was doing the right thing, but she wished it didn't have to be this way. She wished he wouldn't completely forget her. She wished he wouldn't leave and go back to her, the girl whose place she had taken in his memories. She even wished that he had been mad at her; she thought that would make it easier for her. Naminé liked the place she'd made for herself in Sora's memories. She'd felt so happy every time Sora had sworn to find and protect her. Well, he'd kept his promise, and now she was keeping hers, but it hurt. The only thing she could do for him now was to make sure his memory was fixed properly. Her deep blue eyes let a tear spill down her fragile angel's face and she brushed it away absentmindedly. She hugged the drawing to her chest, the one she had made of the boy who would never be hers, the best drawing she'd done. Her other drawings were plastered all over the white walls, each one showing something from deep within her heart. Having only ever felt loneliness and fear before, which you could see in her nervous face and careful demeanour, the young girl didn't understand this longing, this urge to protect and possess. She couldn't tell if it was good or bad, but she realized she would cherish it all long after Sora was gone from her life.
I don't really know what category to put this in. ^^''

This was an assignment for English class last year. xD We had to write emotions~ And now I probably seem really depressing, if these are the first things I come up with to write. xD I had a bunch of stuff I wanted to write here last night, but I can't remember any of it... Anyway, based off of events from Kingdom Hearts: CoM and Kingdom Hearts: Days.
